Dr. Gugulethu Mathe
Dr. Gugulethu Mathe
Dr Mathe is a medical doctor who was born and raised in Zimbabwe. She obtained her medical degree (MBChB) from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom, graduating in July 2012. She pursued Family Medicine (General Practice) as her specialty in the prestigious London Deanery GP Training Program in the United Kingdom. She earned her certificate of completion of postgraduate training in General Practice (Family Medicine) in August 2017. Dr Mathe has always aspired to set up and run a family medical clinic. Recognizing that this was not possible due to the structure of the healthcare system in the United Kingdom, Dr Mathe looked to Canada. She emigrated to Ontario with her young family in August 2020 and established her family practice in Scarborough, Ontario. She recognized the need for family physicians in Durham Region, where she currently resides, and decided to relocate her practice to Whitby. Dr Mathe prides herself on being professional, approachable, hardworking, and thorough. She is currently accepting patients and looks forward to building lasting and rewarding doctor-patient relationships.

Dr. Tanya Dhir
Dr Dhir is a family physician joining Wellview Medical in summer 2026. She was born in India and grew up in the United Kingdom. She obtained her medical degree in 2017 (MBBS) from the prestigious King’s College London, United Kingdom. She then pursued her postgraduate speciality training in Family Medicine (General Practice), in London, obtaining her Certificate of Completion of Training in 2023.
Dr Dhir worked full time as a Family Physician in London. She obtained her Diploma in Women's Health (DRCOG) in 2020. She has also trained in insertion and removal of IUDs and contraceptive implants. In the Spring of 2026 she emigrated to Canada with her young family in search of new opportunities.
Dr Dhir is committed to providing evidence-based, high-quality care, while keeping in mind each patient’s individual needs. She looks forward to working with patients at Wellview Medical. In her free time she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, gardening and music.

Dr Dhir is a family physician joining Wellview Medical in summer 2026. She was born in India and grew up in the United Kingdom. She obtained her medical degree in 2017 (MBBS) from the prestigious King’s College London, United Kingdom. She then pursued her postgraduate speciality training in Family Medicine (General Practice), in London, obtaining her Certificate of Completion of Training in 2023.

Onicka Derrell
Known for her friendly smile and calm, organized presence, Onicka helps keep the clinic running with ease. She brings years of experience, a natural talent for helping people, and a genuine commitment to making each patient’s visit as smooth and comfortable as possible. Whether greeting patients, coordinating care, or supporting the team, Onicka is always ready to help.
Her dedication to patient care, strong leadership skills, and commitment to excellence have earned her the role of Lead Medical Office Assistant at Wellview Medical. In this position, she helps guide daily operations, supports fellow team members, and ensures the high standard of service our patients have come to expect. Her positive attitude, reliability, and passion for helping others make her an invaluable member of the Wellview team.

Annice Williams
Annice recently graduated as a Medical Office Assistant and is excited to begin her healthcare career with the Wellview Medical team. Passionate about patient care, she brings a warm, friendly, and compassionate approach to every interaction, helping patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and supported throughout their visit. Eager to learn and grow within the medical field, Annice is dedicated to providing exceptional service while continually expanding her knowledge and skills. She takes pride in creating a positive patient experience and looks forward to building meaningful relationships with the individuals and families she serves.
